Hi, my name is Sharath and this is my website.
I was born in Bangalore, India and have been living here all my life. For me photography was a late start compared to some of my
other friends who nevertheless provided me with much guidance and appreciation.
The first time I ventured into a jungle was to an anti-poaching camp in Bhadravathi and since then I never looked back. Initally I started off with a Panasonic Lumix FZ8 and then bought my SLR when I landed my first job in Textron. After getting my SLR, I decided that I will not restrict myself to nature and wildlife as such but will take photos of anything I find interesting and worth documenting. My photos represent my perspective of seeing things of which nature is a big part.
Currently, I work for a company called GreenPrint. We write software that helps reduce paper usage in printers which in turn reduces the number of trees being cut and thus prevents habitat destruction.
