I was trying to take a backup of a website i designed on my mac. Seems like there is something wrong with that compression utility and despite repeated attempts, it kept hanging after taking backup of around 7 / 20 MB . 
Finally, I decided to just fire up terminal .. hit the zip command and voila ! job done. 

Moral : Don’t mess with something that isn’t broken..

One thing that has been bugging me off late (apart from the neck sprain) is that I seem to over commit myself to doing things that I never end up doing or even if I do, I feel I have not given it my all.
I think to myself that if i had more time or if i had planned things better, then I could have pulled it off well but I find myself also thinking that I should never have agreed to do this in the first place since it takes up such a lot of my time (something which I won’t have as I commit to the task)
